JPL Lidar Data Policy

All JPL Water Vapor Lidar Data archived at NDACC are publicly available. These data are available as soon as they are cataloged in the database.

Data Use Agreement:

The following General Rules of Use apply:
1) When it is envisaged to use our data in a publication or communication, the PI must be contacted during the preparation of the publication or communication to discuss possible collaboration and co-authorship. NDACC data users are expected to consult the online documentation and reference articles to fully understand the scope and limitations of our lidar datasets available at the NDACC archive center. They are strongly encouraged to receive additional information from us regarding the data products that could be useful in their studies/applications and as such ensure the proper use of specific data sets

2) All users of the JPL Lidar data archived at NDACC at a minimum must acknowledge both the Data Archive Center and the JPL Lidar Project Principal Investigator (Thierry Leblanc) in any publication, as follows:
“The data used in this publication were obtained from “Dr. T. Leblanc ” as part of the Network for the Detection of Atmospheric Composition Change (NDACC) and are publicly available at  the NDACC data archive center  https://www-air.larc.nasa.gov/missions/ndacc/.”
